The Lebanon Project
We resolve to adopt the nation of Lebanon as a coalition in order to advance the kingdom of God throughout the Middle East.
Our coalition believes that Jesus- as Lord over the nations- considers Islam as a potential friend and not a foe of the gospel of the kingdom (Psalm 2:8,9). That being said, we believe the nation of Lebanon is a key launching pad for the gospel to permeate the Middle East due to the fact it is in proximity to all Arabic nations and is also a bridge to North Africa.
In addition to this: various ethnic Arabic people already reside in Lebanon and this nation is the only nation in the Middle East where it is not illegal to preach the gospel and proselytize people for the sake of the faith . (Thus , said ethnic Arabic people have the greatest potential to return to their own Nations to share the good news of Jesus Christ)
